Description:

Since many of us enjoy the idea of turning trash into treasure I am creating this swap so we can do just that. We will be making postcards with 'ONLY' recycled items. The card itself, as well as anything you decorate the card with, must all have had a previous life.

I am using the word 'postcard' loosely since these can be made of wood, cardboard, fabric, plastic...anything you want, as long as they are flat and can go through the mail. Mail them naked or in an envelope, whatever you think is best. There is no size restriction and they don't have to be rectangles.(One idea would be the round piece of cardboard that frozen pizza comes on)

Somewhere on the front of the card must be the word 'RECYCLE'. It can be in a sentence or simply the word, we just want everyone who sees these works of art to know that they are recycled.

I will ban anyone that seems flaky.

U.S. only because these may end up being kind of big and more expensive to mail.

I just recently did a recycle swap and had so much fun coming up with ideas.

More like mail art instead of postcards, huh? I'm assuming we don't have to use recycled glue? :o)

Mail art doesn't have a catagory so I went with postcards....but yes, more like mail art :-) I supose you will be allowed to use brand new glue (he he).

Ok I know this is a kind of silly question but just in case...Do we only send one card to each partner?

(Just so I know how much of my paper scraps and pizza boxes I'll be rummaging through) :D

Yes, one postcard to each partner. Sorry I forgot to mention that above :-)
