Description:

You will start with a brand new note card for this swap, and turn it into a sweet snail mail flipbook for your partner.

Your note card should be a standard size note card. I'm not listing a size here because certain sizes may be difficult to find in other parts of the world. Just make sure it's not too small! (approx. 4 X 5.5 or larger is good)

Create your flipbook by adding pages, a pocket or two, small envelopes, bags, journal cards, etc, to the inside of your card. Use your imagination to create little sections. How you create your flipbook is completely up to you, as long as you start with a note card as your cover.

You may decorate the front of our note card if you wish. Jazz it up with washi tape, embellishments, collage, etc. This step is completely optional and not required.

In your flipbook, you must include a little letter to your partner. It does not need to be long, but at least one page. You also need to include at least 2 small surprises tucked in somewhere. This could be cute page flags or post-it notes, a postcard, factory sealed tea or drink sachet, cute decorative paperclips, stickers, etc.

Once you are done, you can place your creation in the envelope that came with your note card and mail off to your partner.

Recap:

  • Start with a note card and turn it into a snail mail flipbook
  • Include at least 2 small surprises
  • Include min. 1 page letter to your partner
  • Don't forget to include your swap-bot name and the swap name so that you can be rated.

This swap is for everyone! Whether you are new to flipbooks, or have made 200 of them. We are all at different creative levels, so please remember that :) Just do your best work and send something to brighten your partner's day.

If you need help or have questions, please message me or post below. Have fun!
