HG: Chinese New Year - The Year of the Rooster

This year, Chinese New Year will take place on Saturday, January 28. And, it's the year of the rooster!

Your challenge for this swap will be to create something fiber related that says "rooster" to you. You can knit, crochet, sew, felt, weave or use some other fiber skill to make something for your partner. Perhaps you crochet and decide to make a rooster amigurumi or maybe you'll knit or sew a rooster drink coaster. The craft and medium is up to you.

You should plan to do your best work and communicate with your partner and swap hostess if there is a problem.

I'm making this an international swap as you can chose to make something light to lower your shipping cost.

Some fun facts...

Chinese New Year 2017 will be a year of the Rooster. For people born in a year of the rooster (1921, 1933, 1945, 1957, 1969, 1981, 1993, 2005), 2017 is considered a bad year. "Roosters" are hardworking, resourceful, courageous and talented.
