For this swap, let's create one collage postcard using this painting with paper technique. I've seen many examples of this style and I've admired it from afar. No more. Let's try it! The theme is open - sender's choice - so create anything you want. Starting with a simple image such as a coffee cup on a table might be a good place to begin. Or, feel free to challenge yourself and make something more complex such as ... A city scene (click here to view) Take a look at Megan Coyle's Flickr photostream - she's got some amazing pieces posted. https://www.flickr.com/photos/megancoyle/ Keep the use of other mediums and techniquest to a minimum - try to do primarily collage. Creative Collage General Rules The focus of the art should be collage. Postcards can be any size but no smaller than 4 x 6 inches. Apply proper postage depending on size and bulk. This is sender's choice so you can begin now. Create something wonderful. Be sure to write the name of the swap and your swapbot name on your postcard so you can get rated. Remember to rate! That's part of the fun of being at swapbot. Thanks and have fun. Image above from Megan Coyle at Flickr |
