Description:

The purpose of this project is to find and keep a penpal.

While I can't force you or your partner to keep writing, please don't join if you don't intend to keep writing after the swap is over. Because the person you will send to is different from who will initially send to you, if all goes well, you will end up with two regular pen pals after the swap is over. :) A RESPONSE IS EXPECTED to the initial letter.

Letters should be 2 pages minimum, however you chose to do that. A page front and pack, two pages front only, a notecard with extra pages stuck in, etc.

Newbies will be allowed with a full profile.

For rating purposes, rate your partner after you receive their first letter.

@naomithewriter - in this case, write your partner.
When you receive a letter, reply to it. Keep it up. That's how you get a penpal: continuous communication. :)

Sorry, @TC - I did check profiles, but somehow I missed a handful. Fortunately most were okay, I am sorry this isn't. I did a lot of this from my phone, and this site is absolutely not mobile friendly. She has been PMed about it. In the meantime, generic intro letter time. On thr plus side, you can use up a lot of space asking questions.
