Here is cool technique for us to try... This swap is 3 atc's to I partner, I have allowed plenty of time so everyone can do this one.. The technique can be done 2 slightly different ways, but you can use many different materials.. I hope everyone will post what materials they used, and how you did it, so we can all learn something new form each other.. The first way to do the technique is to take something you can see through and draw or trace an image on one side and then flip it over add color to the other side, making the colored side the back and the drawn side the front of your art.. Or for the other way is to take something you can see through, draw the image on one side and then to the same side add color on top of your drawing ..Flip it over and make the drawn/colored side the back side the back your art.. Either way, it is still a reverse art technique Then make your atc from your reverse art Example..the example above is my first try..I took wax paper and traced an image someone had make an atc of form Bernie Berlin's book I then traced the image one one side and on the same side I colored it in with a sharpie,, the only reason I did both steps on the same side is because the sharpie smeared too easy... This example is just too get your imagination working.. |
