EDIT 9/13 Changing this to a type 3 due to the time factor in writing the journal entries. @AmericanHeiress is hosting a series of swaps called 'shared journal experience' in the main forum, and it is SO MUCH FUN! But, because we send a whole journal, the swap is limited to the USA - shipping a journal Internationally would be too costly, and the potential to get lost is just scary! So, while I understand the reasons, it's a bit sad for me, because I LOVE international swaps. After seeing a group swap hosted by @draco I got this idea. So far, it's been fun! Let's continue!
To keep postage costs down you may use the front and back of one sheet for your entries (see below). Hopefully, this will help everyone interested able to participate. The idea is that you should be able to meet minimum requirements AND send for only one stamp to that country. I hope that makes sense. You MAY write more but this is the minimum. You MAY write each entry on a separate sheet, send multiple pages, etc, if you wish. But the minimum requirement can be met on just one sheet of paper to save on postage costs. If you are able to send multiple pages for a single stamp, please write more! SWAP DETAILS For each round you will send 1 page (minimum): You can send longer entries if you wish, but the MINIMUM will be 1 full page, typed or handwritten. Again, you may write more! Part 1 will be a short biography of you, at least a half page or a paragraph (5 sentences is 1 paragraph), but it can be longer. More than just "my name is, my birthday is, I live here". Part 2 will be a journal entry of your day, at least 1/2 page long, again whatever you wish to share. If you wish to take more, that is fine. Please date your entry, though! Part 3 This entry should be a FULL page, and can be the back side of the pager containing the first 2 parts. This entry will be a journal prompt reply. Choose from these topics: (If you can't do a FULL page on any one topic, you may use 2 topics to make up the full page of journal entry).
You may type your entries or hand write them, but be sure they are standard computer page size, (8.5 x 11"/ A4) so they will fit in everyone's binder or folder. Please leave room on the left edge and top of the page in case your partner wishes to punch holes in the page to add to a ring binder. :) You may decorate your pages if you wish, just be sure they are still about to be clearly read. :) If you choose to add pictures or items like ticket stubs you may do that, but pictures or items shouldn't take the place of your written entry. This is, after all, a written journal. VERY IMPORTANT There will hopefully be several rounds for this swap :) You need to include your swap-bot ID and the name of the swap & round number with the page(s) you send so you can be rated. You MAY make that note on the top right or left hand corner of page 1/side 1 You will send those 3 journal entries to your swap-bot partner. :) If you get all 3, you rate them a 5. :) Hearts, of course, are up to you. You can then collect the entries in your binder or folder and add to it with each round. This swap will be International, and you will have 1 partner. Swap Requirements You need a rating of 4.98 or higher, NO 1's or 3's since Feb 2017, and 5 type 3 swaps completed and rated. (If you do not meet these requirements, please message me and state your case.) I will angel this swap, but please don't sign up if you don't intend to follow through. That's just rude. I'm willing to give newbies a chance at some swaps. Sound good? Any questions, concerns, comments? Please PM me (I don't see the comments as often as PM's, so it might take a while to get a reply.) I typically assign partners before noon (EST) the morning following the sign up date. I almost always send out a group email after I have assigned partners, also, so you will know when to look for that. |
