Description: | |
Stamp an image on your cardstock with a background stamp using Distress Ink. I used Bundled Sage. Immediately cover the stamped image with Clear Embossing Powder. Tap off the excess powder. Emboss this with your heat tool. Ink over the entire surface with a different color of Distress Ink using an Ink Blending Tool. It is the little wooden handled tool with Velcro at the base you add foam to. Although, if you do not have one, I believe a cotton ball would work. I used Peeled Paint. Cover the entire surface with another layer of Clear Embossing Powder again & remove the extra powder. Heat with your heat tool. This is when the embossing will show up better. Now, ink over the entire surface with a dark Distress Ink with your Ink Blending Tool. I used Vintage Photo. Now finish the ATC anyway you want but, try to keep it Tim Holtz style. The sample on the left is my first step. The sample on the right is the finished product of my 1/2 sheet of cardstock. I wanted to get 2 ATC's from this one 1/2 sheet. We are only sending one ATC to one partner. Be sure to add a sturdy backing. |
