This is a two part swap. In the first part of this swap, we will each send our 1 partner, one decorated envelope containing 10 items from your own stash. It can be anything that can be used in mail art. The second part of the swap, is you will then take the stuff that was sent to you and make a piece of mail art from you, for the person who sent you their stash. You will have 10 days to send something back to them. The goal is to use what they send you to make the mail art you send back to them. You do not have to use everything that is sent to you but you should use quite a bit of it. You may add other items also. I once participated in a swap like this where the person kept all the cool things I sent in the envelope and used the envelope I sent it in to make an ATC..........that is not the purpose of this swap. While I'm all for you using even the envelope, you must also use the items that were sent to you. Have fun. Edited 04-17-18 Oh yes. I should have mentioned how to rate. When you send off your decorated envelope full of stuff, and your partner receives it. Your partner will then rate you. That partner will then send you back a mail art item (ATC, postcard, decorated envie with a tuck in, altered file folder, etc) made from your stash. You will then leave a profile comment stating that you received their mail art item. If you do not receive something made from some of your stash, please let me know. I will consider it a flaked swap, and remove the person from this group. Obviously, as with all swaps, contact your partner first and try to work it out as it could have been lost in the mail or whatever. But then, please, let me know if you really think you were flaked on. |
