Description: | |
You will make your partner 1 standard ATC (2.5"x3.5") by following the 10 steps below. For this series of swaps you will need to have the specific TH product which is in bold text so be sure you have them or can get them before sigining up. Step 1: Grab or make a plain white ATC blank and a ATC blank using acetate (this is the thick, clear, plastic material that is often found in hard packaging). Step 2: Choose any TH Stampers Anonymous stamp without words/letters unless you can mirror them. Step 3: Grab a dark color of Ranger Archival Ink and use it to stamp your image(s) on the acetate. Allow to dry, if using a heat tool take care not to melt your card. Step 4: Flip the acetate card over so that the stamped side is facing your table. Step 5: Using any colors of TH/Ranger Alcohol Ink to color your image on the reverse side of the stamped image. This can be done with a refillable pen or using felt & blending tool. Allow to dry completely. Step 6: Apply a very light color, preferably picket fence, of TH distress paint to the side with the alcohol ink. Step 7: Attach the acetate card to the plain white using glossy accents, brads, eyelets or some other method in which the glue is not largely visible. Step 8: Find something to rough up the edges to create a border that is less than ~1/8" wide. Some ideas: TH paper distresser, sandpaper, stitch markers, hammer & nail, TH texture hammer, safety pin, etc. Step 9: Add a small TH inspired embellishment which coordinates with your work. Step 10: On the back of the ATC write at least the title, your username and date. In order to create more swaps like this I need to know what TH products you own so please check out this thread. As always I will angel if you are flaked on provided you have rated your partner a 1. |
