				   				 National Haiku Poetry Day 2019 is on Wednesday, April 17, 2019: A Haiku is an ancient form of Japanese poetry, which consists of 3 lines with the syllable structure 5-7-5. Haikus typically revolve around nature, the passing of seasons, or ephemeral beauty. Those are the basics about Haikus you may use any subject you want but please follow the 5-7-5 syllable format. First you will pick out any nice notecard you have it can be handmade or store bought. In it you will write a haiku for your partner. You will then decorate the outside of your envelope as well. It can be stampings washi tape stickers etc...Something simple! Have fun ladies!  | |
