Description:

You will make your partner 1 standard ATC (2.5"x3.5") by following the 10 steps below. For this series of swaps you will need to have the specific TH product which is in bold text so be sure you have them or can get them before sigining up.

Step 1: Grab or create a white or light colored ATC blank made from smooth cardstock.

Step 2: Choose any color distress stain and dab a bit on your craft mat. Use a light but steady hand to roll a brayer through the stain to pick up as much as possible. This can take some practice so check to make sure you don't end up with a line of stain across your brayer, you should get a large stain blot but your brayer won't be completely covered.

Step 3: Once you're happy with the stain covered area on your brayer, line the brayer up with your ATC and quickly roll it out. Repeat step 2 and 3 until all stain is gone from the craft mat. You can change direction of the roll as needed.

Step 4: Choose another color of distress stain and repeat steps 2 and 3 being sure to change directions of the roll in step 3 to cover the ATC.

Step 5: Mist a small area of your craft mat with water and roll your brayer through it and then on to the ATC to blend the stains a bit.

Step 6: Choose one last color of distress stain and repeat steps 2, 3 and 5 as needed until you're happy with the result.

Step 7: Distress the edges of your ATC using a paper distresser, sanding block, or file.

Step 8: Ink around the edges using any coordinating distress or distress oxide ink to create a border.

Step 9: Finish off your ATC in your best Tim Holtz style.

Step 10: Mount your ATC on something sturdy like 140lb watercolor paper or use a couple layers of thin cardstock. On the back of the ATC write at least the title, your username and date.

In order to create more swaps like this I need to know what TH products you own so please check out this thread.

As always I will angel if you are flaked on provided you have rated your partner a 1.
