Description:

This round in the Bible Journaling series of swaps is for a kit.

Each person will receive a kit in the mail from me. Unlike the Bible Journaling Surprise swap which was to create something from a single common item, this time each person will get a kit of items specifically for Bible journaling.

Your challenge-- should you accept-- is to create something your partner can use for Bible journaling. Depending on how you use your kit, you may have enough to make one for yourself.

This is USA only because it can take a while for mail to cross the globe.

Group membership. Snail mail. USA.

The kits are ready. I made six (the number of people in the last round). If you want me to move the dates up, i.e., sign up by next week and send by the same day next month, post below. Majority rules.

Received my kit!! Thank you so much, @Artistic I know that we can make anything for Bible Journaling, but I was wondering if anyone had some general ideas to get my creative juices flowing? Thank you!

Hi all: My plan is to do some Bible study and then see where the kit items take me after I spread them all out.

My primary thought when gathering items wasn't what could I make, but what will fit in a sandwich size bag and not cost a lot to send! :)

But since you're asking, here's some quick brainstorming:

  • the doily could be a background/base for something OR it would be used to make a flower OR to use as edging

  • the greeting cards can be cut up to use individual words or images OR painted over completely to become a journaling device

  • ribbon can be stapled, paper clipped, made into a bow

  • The napkin (I sent two in case of first draft errors or tears!) could become the background OR decoupaged OR and there are hundreds of other ideas on Pinterest and if you do a Google search.

I don't have the kit with me as I write this, so can't recall the other items in it, but hopefully, this will get your creativity flowing with some ideas.

Happy creating!
