Description: | |
Although two very different celebrations lets combine both onto an ATC. Perhaps a sugar skull with spider web in background, or brightly colored Skeleton & halloween colored backgrounds. use your imagination and make something you would like to receive. This swap is for people new to making artist trading cards who want to do so in a non-judgmental swap. If you are an ATC "pro" who wouldn't be happy with a beginner card this swap is not for you. For this swap you will make one ATC each for two partners (you should get two ratings.) Standard ATC rules apply; card must be 2.5" X 3.5" (6.35 cm x 8.9cm) on sturdy background. Don't forget to put the name of the swap, date made & your swap-bot name in it. Card may be hand drawn, painted, stenciled, collaged, zentangled, embellished, use die cuts, done in fabric, etc. senders choice as long as it fits with DAY OF THE DEAD / HALLOWEEN THEME. However you choose, except for "sticker slapping." Stickers may be used if they are done well, don't just stick one on a piece of card-stock and call it done. Don't forget to rate your partner when you receive their cards. Copied from SWAP BOT FAQ β’ What are the rating criteria? There are only three different rating criteria: I got my stuff and it met posted swap requirements (5 points); I got my stuff, but it didn't meet the posted swap requirements (3 points); I never got anything (1 point). Keep in mind that you are NOT rating your partners on whether or not you liked what you received, only on if it met the requirements of the swap. The fun thing about swaps is that you never know what you are going to get, and that means that sometimes you may not be thrilled with what you receive. Also, remember that everyone (including the person you are rating) can see who you are and what ratings and comments you gave. It is important to rate participants honestly, but it is also good to be kind even if you have to give someone the lowest rating. Please be sure to add sufficient postage to your envelope! One stamp generally won't cover an ATC made with bulky embellishments. Including lots of βextrasβ may also require additional postage, as well. When in doubt, take your envelope to the post office so they can help you determine the correct postage. There are lots of YouTube videos and Pinterest ideas for making ATC's if you need instruction/inspiration. Newbies with a well filled out profile allowed (see note below). No ones or threes in last 6 months. I check all profiles prior to assigning partners and I will ban questionable swappers. NEWBIES: Please fill out your profiles. This helps other swappers know your likes & dislikes. And you will see this is a common requirement of many swaps here on swap-bot. Although this is senders choice many swappers look at your profile to try and make something they know you would love. You wouldn't want to receive a card done in shades of orange if you hate orange! To get an idea of things to include check out other swapper's profiles. To do that; once you join this swap click the link in the box at the top right that says "view participants." Click on any name and it will take you to their profile. Any questions you can message me. |
