Description:

Imbolc 2020: Altar Card

We will be making an Imbolc-themed Altar Card for our partner that is beautiful enough to display on their altar. It should have both an image and a written blessing, invocation, prayer, or a short ritual. Use any media that you like.

-Use a nice piece of cardstock or other sturdy paper so that the card can be propped up without drooping.

-You need to mail the card flat—do not make a crease through the art. (Make sure that you have an envelope that is the correct size. Include a piece of stiff pasteboard, cardboard, or something similar to make sure that your card doesn’t get bent up in the mail. Photo mailer envelopes also work well.)

-Make it at least 4”x 5” but no bigger than 8.5”x11”

-It is OK to either put an image on one side and text on the other or the image and the blessing on the same side

-If you use writing from someone else, include the name of the author and the title of the book or website

-Write a friendly note card telling a little bit about how and why you decided on the content of the Blessing Card. Remember to include the name of the swap, your name, and your Swap-Bot User ID

-Check your partner’s profile for any likes or dislikes and be sure to message them if you have any questions

And, as always, I am happy to help. Send me a message on Swap-Bot if you have any questions or suggestions. :D
