Description: | |
April 22nd is the 50th Anniversary of Earth Day - A reminder we should always be good and green, caring for the planet than provides our home. Please join me in creating one homemade postcard using items you already have on hand. Keep reduce, reuse, recycle in mind and use scraps and pieces combined with your usual art supplies to create an Earth Day piece, maybe an image, message or actions to promote the sentiment of the day. You don't have to be a great artist although drawings are welcome, any medium or mix is acceptable Pens, colored pencils, markers, paint, decoupage, stencils, stamped images, pasted elements, doodles, embellishments or stickers combined with other elements use your imagination and please include the swap name on the back. If you have never made a postcard, the back of a cereal box is a good weight for a base and stick to a normal postcard size or make sure you add extra postage if oversize or shaped. Postcards should be mailed naked (no envelope) and I will allow new unrated swap-bot participants to join with a filled out profile. |
