I was thinking it would be fun doing some twinchies! So, here's the deal... For these Tut twinchies, we are going to do monotangles. A Twinchie is 2 inches square, and a monotangle means you are going to do one tangle on each square. Create 6 twinchies, each with one tangle on it. On the back, put the name of the tangle, plus all the usual stuff... name, place, date, etc. Here's the fun part. You are going to tangle the first 6 letters of your name. For instance, my name is Prairie, so I would go to the P tangles and pick one. Tangle it on one of the twinchies. Then, I would go to the R tangles and pick one to tangle on the next twinchie. Etc. So for my twinchies, I might choose: Purk Get the idea? You can do black and white, if you insist. :-) You can also do color, shading, whatever. Think of these as little pieces of art. If your name is, for instance AMY, you would do 3 twinchies with your first name and 3 twinchies with the first letters of your last name. I can tell you from experience, you need to put the Twinchies inside a greeting card or some sort of thin cardboard pieces before mailing. If the postal worker can feel them sliding around inside the envelope, they will charge you package rate. Or they will take it and charge the receiver $3.20 postage due. Yeah. Trust me on this one. :-( So... 6 twinchies, 6 different tangles, one partner. Sent in a greeting card. |
