I'm sure that if you're like me, you've got a lot of odds and ends laying around. I have LOTS of buttons but I'd love a new assortment. For this swap, you will get together a bag of 100 buttons for one partner. add extras for hearts if you want, but this is mostly a supplies swap, so you can give hearts if your partner sends you nice buttons. there should be a variety of colors and sizes, please don't send 100 white buttons. you should have at least a 4.8, or be a newbie with a filled out profile. I'm doing this international, so we can maybe get some overseas neato buttons, and because it shouldn't cost much to ship buttons. happy swapping! update 1/29/08-due to feedback, i have increased the rating qualifier to a 4.8. If you have lower ratings than that but want to explain the circumstances, please message me.

4.6 is pretty low. Newbies are just fine but 4.6 is a lot of 1s or 3s. Will you be angeling this swap?

I agree, that is a big risk to give up 100 of my buttons, they actually mean something to me!

I might join, but to be honest I'm a little afraid of the 4.6 rating as well. I'll be watching it for now.

of course i'll angel if there's an issue, i understand everyone's concerns, and i love my buttons too! i will change it up to a 4.8, and if anyone with a lower rating wants to join, please explain to me the circumstances of your low rating. thanks for the feedback everyone!

I´ve put togehter 70 buttons (blue, red, green. pink and white) with two or more the same and 30 odd ones, some large, some quite old (like from the 50s and 60s), some funny, would that be a good combination? I also wonder if it´s ok to have a wishlist because if so I´m very fond of wood buttons. Of course I don´t expect a lot of them but if my swapper would put in one or two I´d be sooooo happy :).

I love all kinds of buttons but the shank type! Anything 2 or 4 holes would be awesome! I just never can find a use for the ones with one hole!

Oh wow this one's exciting! I've got lots of buttons.....mainly from charity (thrift) shops..........wooden, sparkly,bright colours and more muted. Whoever ends up being my partner, let me know what sort of stuff you like! Nicki

I can't wait for this swap!! I'll just quickly say that I have most use for two/four holed plain, colourful buttons, or anything with plastic shanks. Metal shanks don't work so well, but I won't complain because the buttons can be so pretty =]

i just want to post a quick update, as it were. please try to send a nice variety of buttons, not 100 all the same or very similar. they don't all have to be different, but a good assortment is best. please be advised that it is your partners discretion whether or not to send the types of buttons you request, and rate as per my guidelines, which are for any 100 buttons. if you are looking to get a certain kind of button for sure, this may not be the swap for you. other than that, thanks to everyone who's already signed up, and feel free to spread the word and get us into the top 10 :)
