BOTANICAL EPHEMERA SWAP #1

Hello everyone! I am so excited to be hosting a botanical ephemera swap. This is international, so please keep in mind postage rates will be higher, and shipping times are extended currently

For this swap you will have 1partner, and you will need to put together a little decorated package of 10 botanical themed goodies to send them. It would be nice to make it into a pocket or flip book, but that is not mandatory. If your partner does, you should give them a heart.

Package should include:

• 1 decorated envelope

• 10+ botanical themed goodies

• 1 short note to your partner (include the swap name, and your swap ID)

** As long as your partner included everything above, you should rate them a 5**

(Optional: putting the goodies in a pocket or flip book for a “heart rating”)

By Botanical, I mean anything that is nature, plants, flowers, mushrooms, common garden vegetable/fruits, or garden insect related, etc

Your swap must include minimum 10 items!!

You can chose to include any of the following:

• plant picture cut outs

• plant themed stickers (1 full sheet or 3 cut outs)

• gardening book page

• plant identification book page

• insect identification book page

• page from a gardening magazine

• botanical themed postcard (limit of 2)

• plant themed stamps

• 1 plant themed washi tape sample

• 1 herbal tea bag (must be sealed, NOT loose leaf tea - *if you include a tea bag, check with your partner for any allergies)

• plant die cuts or chipboard ephemera

• plant themed tag

• green themed ephemera

• flowery themed ephemera

• plant themed scrapbook paper sample

• pre made wax seal of plants (tree, rose, ect.)

• pressed/dried flower that your partner could reuse

• 1 polaroid picture of plants, flowers, trees, etc.

• 1 seed package ephemera

• garden vegetable/fruits ephemera

• botanical playing card

• botanical label sticker

• 1 botanical paper clip

• Anything else that is nature/botanical related

** Please include some variety of objects, try not to send more than 3 of any item (some items I have set limits for). You wouldn’t want to receive a package of just paper clips right? Haha **

YOU MUST:

• Have a well filled out profile

• Have no unexplained 3’s, no 1’s within the last year.

• 4.8 rating or higher

I WILL be checking every profile and I have the right to remove those who I believe will not be a good fit for the swap.

Please let me know if you cannot send your letter. Depending on the reason for not being able to send, withdrawing late may result in users not being able to participate in further swaps.

Same goes for anyone who flakes. I am open to angel anyone who has an issue with not receiving their botanical ephemera package. Due to covid, please understand that shipping times are extended. Try to give it 4-6 weeks to arrive, especially if it is overseas.

Please be sure to mark your mail as sent, rate your partner and coordinator ASAP after receiving your mail

Here are the rating guidelines below:

1- I have contacted my partner and still, no mail has been received 2 months after the deadline.

3- I received the mail but my partner did not send 10 things from the list or did not make contact to inform me that it would be coming late.

5- I received the decorated envelope, a short note, and 10 different items from the swap's list.

You are welcome to give a heart out if it was an extra special package or the coordinator went above and beyond expectation.

IN THE COMMENTS BELOW: you can write a note to your potential partner saying something like, “I would love to receive anything with sunflowers on it” , “I would love to receive any vintage papers”, “I would love to receive more than 1 herbal tea”, "please do not send me any garden insect related ephemera" etc... THESE ARE JUST TO HELP YOUR PARTNER WITH IDEAS ON WHAT TO SEND YOU, they do not have to follow your requests exactly.
