Welcome to Round Robin Traveling PC Swap This will be a traveling style swap that will be fast and have a few twists and turns as we go Please feel free to ask questions as I am testing out a new idea, and it may need a few kinks worked out here in the beginning. For this round we will each have ONE partner, but this will not be the case for future rounds, so please read the instructions for each swap. Swap #1 The goal is to send out a post card, and eventually have it come back to you, so postcards are obviously sender's choice. Write your own name and address on the "deliver to" side of the post card, and the name of the swap on the left side. You will then send it to your partner in an envelope Future swaps will have no more than 3 partners. Once you have received a swap, you add your name, username, city, state, date, outside temp, and maybe a very short note or quote to the message side of the card, then hang on to it for a future round. I am planning on trying out rounds weekly so it is possible that when a new round starts you may not have received a swap from the last round and that is A-OK because you can just start a new card, and when yours from a previous swap does eventually show up, you will have them ready for the next round. As I've said the first round is only 1 partner, then round 2 will have 2 and round 3 will have 3 and all rounds after that will only have 3. I think it will be fun to have multiple post cards traveling all over the country, and because the swaps will have multiple partners and fast rounds, they are more likely to return full and in good condition. When a PC is full send it back naked to whoever's name is on the address side and start a new card. If you no longer wish to participate but you still have PC from a previous round you can either contact and mail them to me, and I'll get them back into rotation, or if they seem "full enough" just send them back to their owner. Please be kind and try to keep cards in rotation. Please do not hold an older card just to start a new one. These will be fast swaps and its likely that we will find that we frequently get full cards to send back to their owners. Once we get going it will be possible that you may get more than three going at once (for example, if your previous partner was behind and you had to start new ones.) If this happens, you may send 2 cards per partner, just to make sure they stay in rotation, however, do not send more than a person can send with 1 first class stamp |
