Description:

This is one of my favorite series. I really loved the year long Kandinsky Concentric Circles Project we did in 2016 and love all the wonderful hearts from 2017. The suns in 2018 were incredible. In 2019, we celebrated the moon and stars in our Up Above The World So High series. And for 2020, we had fun in our Face Time series. This year we are exploring what we can all create with the same image.

This month, for our With One Image postcard, we will be using this Free Digital stamp image from Microsoft Bing free downloads. The image is:

Here Size it to the size you want.

We will make a mail art postcard each month that features the image of the month. You can print it out, make it smaller, make it larger, color it, use a portion of the image; for example if the image is of a person, maybe you want to cut off the head and add an animal head, etc....you just have to use this image in some way on your mail art postcard. Feel free to paint, sew, bead, use mixed media, pyrography, photograph, collage, weave, etc. The art is all up the you. You may use any art medium to make your postcards. Please do not use stickers as an art medium. And I truly love seeing what you all create...feel free to post photos in the forum.

This year all the postcards will still be 4 x 6 inches, and they will be oriented Vertical or Portrait style. That means long ways, or the 4 inch part is the top and bottom, with the 6 inches being on the sides.

Your creation must contain the image in some way, but other than that, you are free to express yourself with your art in any way you wish. It is preferred that you mail these Naked, but if yours is particularly fragile, lumpy or beaded, etc, you're worried about weather or Covid, then feel free to mail it in a decorated envelope or clear sleeve. Please include your user name and swap name somewhere on your postcards. At the end of the year, you will be able to mount all of your series postcards together to make one big collaboration project.

You can participate in just one swap, or all of them, or you can participate as your schedule allows. If you have a copyright free image that you would like to use for this swap, or an image that you have created, please send me a message. And I will continue to host a USA and an International version.

Here is the USA version.

Have fun!
