can they be the "special edition" beanies, like the "valentine's day" or the "irish" bears? I saw the irish one in the store the other day, he is so cute, white with green shamrocks...just wonderin'.....

I have several older ones that are in good shape but have doubles I would love to pass along. Would that be ok or do these need to be brand new bought for this swap only??

I really want to join this swap but was wondering if you could clarify something for me. Do the beanies need to be from the 2008-2009 collection? My local KB-toy store sells some of the original beanie babies (ones that have dates of 1993-1999, for example). They are new. Are these acceptable? Thanks!
