I am so excited to continue the Halloween ATC swap series for this year! There will be 9 months of ATC swaps, so that by the end you will have an entire 9 pocket sheet filled up. Join one or all - there will also be a make-up month in October. We are going to do something a little different this year - instead of an overall theme for the series, we will be focusing on different crafting techniques each month. For May, will be making an ATC featuring a non-Halloween postage stamp. The postage stamp may be new or used. It can be American or foreign. You can use several different stamps if you would like The design of the postage stamp must not be altered, but must somehow tie into the overall design of the ATC. For example, I have seen Edgar Allen Poe stamps, bat stamps, owl stamps that could be used. There can be a tiny bit of overlapping on the stamp, but do not cover over the postage stamp with anything else You must also include at least 3 other elements or design techniques in your ATC design. This may include rubber stamping, painting, collage. Please no sticker slapping. Send the completed ATC to your partner in a plastic sleeve, place in a notecard and send with a brief note, your name and swap name. Each month will feature a new technique - Here is the line up I have planned so far:
Many of the swaps will have a link to a youtube video for ideas and/or inspiration. If you have any questions on any of the upcoming ATC swaps, just let me know. |
