Description: | |
You will have one partner and you will make for them a decorated "meditation stone". Use any means you wish to decorate the stone: paint, fabric, shells, sticks, clay, beads, yarn, found objects, a combination, anything you want to use...oh my gosh, so many things! I'm not going to specify a size for the stone/rock but please DO NOT use a pebble. I think a two to three inch stone is sufficient in size but you can go as big as you want to. Just keep in mind that rocks have weight to them. Ok, so what is a meditation stone? I honestly don't know that there is a definitive definition. It can mean different things to different people. So this is my take on how to proceed with a plan: first, read your partner's profile. Get a sense of who they are. Think of a word or a concept that your partner might find meaningful. Examples: pray, love, energy, moon, light, family, free, give, etc. Make the meditation stone with your partner in mind. Include a note with the swap name, your name, group name and a sentence or two about what a "meditation stone" means to you. Enjoy!!! xoxo Edit: I reread this and noticed that I mentioned thinking of a "word" that has meaning, and also the picture has the word "sing". You do not need to include a word in your project. But of course you can if you want to. |
