It's time to grab your sequins and glitter, along with anything you loved seeing at the CIRCUS and put together a gorgeous ATC OR an ATC Coin for a partner! Did you love the tightrope walker? Lions? Horses? Trapeze? Showgirls? Dog Act? It doesn't matter. As long as they're dressed to perform! This swap is open to newbies. Just ask questions if you aren't clear on the following directions, okay? You'll have one partner. ATC's should be traditional 3-1/2 x 2-1/2. Coins should be 2-1/2 dia. but both can be as thick as you like. Please make sure they're on matboard or very strong chipboard as a base. If you don't have that, glue several pieces of cardstock together and stick them under something heavy to dry flat. Flimsy ATC's never last and good artists make sure their bases hold up to time! This is a mixed media project. This means you must use 2 different mediums on your project. So, once you've decided on your images, you'll also use at least 2 (or more if you like but a minimum of 2) of the following: Pencils-Wax, oil, watercolor, chalk Pan Pastels Markers-Watercolor, ink, alcohol Pens-glitter, specialty Pigments-Gelatos, crayons Paints Papers-Tissue, cut outs, decoupage Inks Powders-mica, pigment, chalk, embossing Sprays and airbrushing Dimensionals - sequins, feathers, embossing paste, ephemera Heated Elements-encaustic wax, foils Don't forget to include goodies for your partner! PLEASE try to look at their profile and see what they LIKE and try to send something along those lines. It really makes a difference. Please ask if you have any questions and I hope you enjoy this trip to "The Greatest Show on Earth"! |
