Here's a swap for the newbies (or oldies :D). This will be a series of swaps that connect to the alphabet. What is required in this swap is that you will send your partner something that starts with letters of the alphabet. This swaps letters are A, B, C, and D. It would be preferable if the items were profile specific as much as possible, just to get into the habit of reading profiles and being thoughtful :) So, make sure your profiles are filled out really, really well. The more you put into your profile, the better your partner can cater their package to you. I read the forums, so if someone is called out, they will be banned!! I also read profiles and comments, so again, if I get a disturbing feeling, banned!! I want this to be a fun swap, where everyone gets a package of stuff they love, and where the newbies get to prove themselves as great swappers!!! I will angel this swap, which better not be necessary!!! Anyone who flakes will be called out in so many places, that you will have a hard time getting into another swap...... So, have fun; send your packages; and remember to rate!!! I'm making this International, so take care in sizing your packages to avoid crazy mailing costs!

yes, 4 items, one for each of the letters A, B, C, and D.......for example....address lables, buttons, craft glue, drink mix........

I just joined today and have no idea how this type of forum works. I have only used Yahoo groups in the past. Is this where I sign up for the Newbie swap? How do I access the profiles to find out what my assigned partner likes? Can you tell I feel a bit lost???? Thanks, Marlon

around $10 should do it groovyjar. Marlon, at the top of your screen, there is a link to PROFILE, and EDIT, click on the edit and go through the different sections and fill out as much as you can :)

I received the notification in my email that the partner's have been chosen, but can't find any info. I guess I don't understand how to access the correct info on this site. Please tell me, how do I find the person to whom I am sending and what her likes are. Thank you. Marlon

Marlon - on this page look at the top right part, the yellowish box. There you should click on "Click here when you have sent your items" and your partner's name will show up in a pop-up window.

Marlon- sorry sorry sorry - i had a copy/paste accident. You should press "See the partners you send to" and not what I wrote before.
