SMSUSA: Foldover Pocket with Inserts

Hi swappers!

For this swap, you'll be creating a fold-over pocket from one sheet of 8.5"x11" paper, and sending it to your partner.

Here's what to do:

• select a piece of paper measuring 8.5"x11" (or cut one down to size)

• fold it in half LENGTHWISE (for a long pocket)

• glue or sew R & L edges of the pockets

• embellish however you choose

• insert some ephemera, tags, etc. into the pocket

• mail it off to your partner!

What could be simpler?

The pocket should measure approximately 4.25" tall x 9.75" wide, remembering that some of the R & L edges will be turned over to close the pocket. Also, keeping it under 10" will prevent you from getting a postal upcharge.

Go with a theme and colors that inspire you and enjoy creating this very simple project. Try for flat-ish embellishments and inserts to keep down the mailing cost.
