Description: | |
Dear Ladies, Let us add a little elegance to our journals in the form of a pretty Georgian/Regency paper doll that will clip onto a page in our journals. This doll shall have her torso cut from card, but her dress shall be made from fabric, ribbons, lace or paper, folded artfully to create the skirt of her gown. The doll shall be at least six inches long, so she will be quite a presence in our journals. To make the doll, you will need an image, whether it is a paper doll, an illustration or even an image from a painting. Once you have the image, you will make the skirt of her gown 3D by adding fabrics, or papers that you have artfully folded into ruffles or over skirts. Once you have created your paper doll, you must add a fastener to her back so she may be clipped onto the page of your partner’s journal. There are many free images on line for paper dolls but please ensure you choose one that is of our era and make your doll something that will delight your partner. Our fellow Georgette Jill has kindly shared a file of Jane Austen printables for use in our swaps. If you have not yet received the file and would like it, please email me at: annam6@aol.com The images will be very useful in this swap. If there are any queries please don’t hesitate to contact us, we are always happy to help. |
