Description:

How about we do a lead up to Christmas/winter holiday season stocking stuffer swap for the next five months? I'll start it off with a swap that is ocean themed. You will send your one partner a wrapped stocking stuffer that is valued at about $5 and it will be something oceany. It can be handmade or purchased, and thrifted is ok as long as it's in good shape. Gift wrap it, and put a "to and from" tag with the swap/group name on the tag as well. This is sender's choice but you really should check your partner's profile for likes and please avoid any dislikes.

Next month and the months following will all be similar stocking stuffer swaps but with different themes. To keep this series of swaps interesting and friendly for all, please do not send overtly religious items UNLESS your partner mentions their religious preference in their profile.

I'll angel if need be. If anyone would like to host one of these stocking stuffer swaps, shoot me a message. And please host any other swap ideas you might have!! xo

Edited to add: If you save your swap to open later, you'll still need to rate your partner when you receive the swap in the mail. Rate a 5 if it arrives on time.

Just a note to say that I added in the swap details above that a thrifted item is ok as long as it's in good shape. Because of the basic nature of this group, we're really all about using things that we have on hand with which to create. My personal feeling about thrifted items is that I love vintage, I love handmade, and if it comes from a thrift store, yard sale or your own attic, it's all fine by me. But if anyone ever wants to host a swap and say in the description, "Nothing used or secondhand allowed", that's fine. The host makes the rules and that's one of the perks of hosting. xo
