Touristy PC from your state with interesting facts

Things such as what your state nickname is, your state motto, something that was invented in your state, something your state was first to do or have. Try to make them interesting facts. This is a US only swap. You must have a rating of at least 4.9 Newbies with no ratings are welcome.
