I apologize for this swap having such a short time for sign up and deadline. Also for making it an email swap. I prefer recipe swaps to be snail mail, but with Easter soon upon us I decided to make it an email swap. Now for the nitty gritty of this swap: You will have 3 partners (or less if less sign up). Tell your partners what your family tradition is for Easter Sunday. List 3- 5 things you do (or more for stars). Also send 3 recipes to each partner which are of your favorite Easter foods you like to eat. :) Newbies welcome with completely filled out profiles. Others need to have a rating of at least 4.8 with no 1's or no no sends in the past 3 months. If you would like to also send recipes to your partners on handmade recipe cards which would probably be received after Easter I leave that totally up to you. I only made this an email swap because of the time restraint until Easter and I'd like our partners to be able to be able to use the recipes they receive for Easter 2009. They may want to try something new this year! : ) Some ideas for traditions are: do you color easter eggs?, do you hide the eggs (real or plastic ones filled with candy) for the kids to find either inside the house or outside, what sorts of things do you put in your Easter baskets, is Easter all about the Bunny or do you stress the religious aspect of Easter, do you wear an Easter bonnet, do you go all out and buy new Easter outfits each year for the kids and yourself, etc. Just to name a few traditions. Have fun and hope you have a wonderful Easter this year and enjoy new recipes and maybe start a new tradition from an idea you got from one of your partners! ~~ The joyful news that He is risen does not change the contemporary world. Still before us lie work, discipline, sacrifice. But the fact of Easter gives us the spiritual power to do the work, accept the discipline, and make the sacrifice. ~Henry Knox Sherrill |
