Description:

The prior swaps went well so I've decided do them quarterly so people have more time to create their items according to partner profile. This is a regional swap to accommodate swappers that don't like those overseas postage rates.

This single-item swap is for handmade scarves, hats, sweaters, pairs of gloves or mittens, or any type of winter-wearable item that you want to swap. If your partner's profile gives you an idea for a variation on the swap, its okay ith me if you discuss it with your partner first. Your item should be something you would be happy to receive yourself. If you want to know if your swap item is appropriate, please drop me a line.

Newbies are welcome with a complete profile, but please make sure you can fulfill your commitment to send a nice-quality item on time. I won't make a limit on what rating you have (i.e. 5.0), but I will review profiles and I'll contact you if I have a question about your commitment to sending your swap.

I would like to emphasize the swap should be our own handmade creations, this is not intended to be a "get rid of icky stuff" swap. Anyone that trades something obviously used and/or dirty should be awarded a 1 (one) because, in reality, they didn't participate in the swap. Trade something you're proud of and would be happy to receive. Thanks!

I'm so excited and nervous to do this swap! (I'm not nervous about the follow-through, I'm nervous about the product. I've never knit for anyone besides my family.) I've got so many ideas already!

This looks fun. I'll have to see what my schedule looks like closer to the sign up date. :)

I would so much love mittens, halfmittens or a nice triangular shawl if possible and Iร‚ยดd be very grateful for items in natural yarns if possible, acrylics make me sweat like sportsmen :)

I knit a lot of minisocks (wool) for newborns and younger children so if you become my partner and wants me to knit something for your child please let me know :)

I would take anything you want to make in any color except black/brown/tan...no preferences other than that! :)
