Description:

I love craft magazines: Sewing, Crafting, Knitting, Crocheting, Quilting, Scrapbooking, Cross Stitching, Embroidering, Booking-Binding... All those DIY magazines are easy-reading, eye-candy and an endless source of inspiration.

How about swapping ONE craft magazine from your country? Make sure you find a magazine with patterns and lots of pictures in the case your partner does not read/speak your langage. The magazine should be in mint condition (it's ok if you have a peak before you send it), used ones are not ok.

The package shoud include:

  • a craft magazine (check your parner's preferences)

  • a postcard from where you are with a short note for your partner (and don't forget to mention your swap-bot name!).

This swap is international (and, yes, that includes USA, the more international, the better), postage should not be too expensive for one magazine that qualifies as "printed paper" or "courrier" or whatever. No newbies, no flakers, I'll check all participants before the partners are assigned.

Feel free mention which craft(s) you prefer, either as a comment below or in your profile.

I love Sewing, Knitting, Quilting, Cross Stitching and Embroidering! Multi-craft magazine even better.

Any type of handcrafts. I quilt, crochet, sew, paint.

I'm in the USA, I can participate right? That international thing messes me up sometimes, I can't get it figured out.

Of course, "international" includes USA, I edited the desciption of the swap to clear that up.

I would love any magazine about hand embroidary, crewel work, or black work:) I don't do machine embroidery through.

NekeaVordai 04/17/2009 #

Knitting is my number 1 fave craft and would love knitting magazines. Crocheting and beading come in 2nd. Thanks!

We have a lot magazines in sale that are brand new but old dates, can this do?

manonclarke 04/22/2009 #

An all round crafting magazine would be lovely but I also enjoy beading so anything to do with this would be welcome too!

Jembogawa 04/23/2009 #

I'd love a scrapbooking magazine or if thats not possible a card-making magazine please. Multi craft ones would be nice too but I don't really do anything like knitting or embroidery etc. :)

I'd looooove to have the new cloth paper scissors STUDIO edition, wich comes out June 2nd - that would be two days after deadline, but well worth the wait........ Otherwise I'd go for stuff like cloth paper scissors, simple things, Country Marketplace, Ready Made, marie claire idees........any multi craft or quilting Magazine is great, too. I have no use for knitting-/crocheting-/embroidery/beading-magazines.

Am a mad quilter and would love a quilting mag from another country.

I'm beader so if you're anywhere besides the US I would love a new bead magazine. I've just started knitting and doing felt work making beads for jewelry. But anything crafty will be fun

tammyr 05/ 8/2009 #

I love sewing, quilting, craft magazines.

missxpistol 05/12/2009 #

i'd love doll or plushie/stuffie making magazines, sewing, trash to treasure/flea market type ideas, or even something in the readymade/makezine type areas (yay stuff to make my boyfriend do! hahaha). crochet and knitting aren't so much my thing, but i could always find someone to pass them on to if need be.

Excited ! Excited! I love quick projects, embroidery, sewing - like househod goods, reavamping of old items, soft toys, baby items. Not really into scrapbooking, knitting, paper quilling, or floral arranging.

chuysgirl 05/17/2009 #

As a novice in the crafts field, right now I'm into scrapbooking, making cards, and whimsey jars. Would like to explore matchboxes and ATC's.

crystalballs 05/19/2009 #

I would love to have any type of bead book or magazine that is outside of the US. I love felting, papercrafts, and embroidery. I can knit and crochet but not enough to read patterns
