have you ever made a tag flip? They are so much fun to make, and are equally wonderful to receive! Essentially, it's a series of "nested" tags, with the largest on the bottom, and getting progressively smaller toward the top. Some of each tag should be visible when you're finished. Let's have at least 4 layers of tag, each featuring a bird (or two, or many)...each tag should be able to stand alone, in terms of workmanship. Cover the back of each tag with pretty paper, and tie them together with ribbons, fibers, twine...you know what to do! Something to consider: the tags don't have to necessarily be tag-shaped! One layer might be a birdhouse, for instance...how cute would that be? Let's make the bottom tag layer a real tag, about 3x6 in size. Successive layers are up to you and your creativity! |
