EPUSA: Non-Deco (ATC Booklet) Swap #11 of 12 This is a continuation of our round-robin mini book of mail art. PLEASE DO NOT JOIN IF YOU DIDN'T PARTICIPATE IN ROUNDs #1-10! NOTE: This and subsequent rounds will have a shorter time in between swaps. I'm aiming for three weeks (one for mailing and two for crafting). Please let me know if that's not enough time though. You will use your materials to decorate a page in your partner's mini art journal / ATC booklet. To participate you're agreeing to do TWO things:
REMEMBER this step, please!
UPDATE: It was suggested to me that we sign up for multiple rounds of this swap to allow us to pick and choose which booklet to forward to our partner. Please try and sign up for at least TWO rounds at once. Thank you!! Of course, please add art that you are proud to share, keeping in mind the cost to ship will increase if you use anything too rigid or bumpy. Try to keep these flat so they can be mailed easily in between rounds. Think of them like a zine in that manner, and send them unfolded to save on postage. Remember, after adding a single ATC-sized spread of art to the booklet, please sign, and date the back of your art on the booklet page. MOST IMPORTANTLY, please place the booklet in a safe, yet obvious location while awaiting the next round. If the 'bot returns your booklet to you, I'll leave it up to you if you'd like to write yourself a note or add a page. Please let me know if you'd rather not do either of those options. I will try to make arrangements so you don’t have to add a page to your own booklet if you don’t want to. Please let me know if there’s anything else I may have forgotten to think through. Total pages in the book (including cover) = 14 I recommend sending these booklets in an envelope with the center pages open [ | ] to eliminate bulk. They'll mail for the price of one "USPS forever stamp", as long as they remain flat and relatively flexible. The booklet measures approximately 5.5 inches wide by 4.25 inches tall when opened (laying flat). Folded (booklet style), it's approximately 2.75" by 4.25". There are a dozen pages inside (not including the cover). The seam is bound with two staples, which can easily be removed and replaced with sewn binding if one so desired. The blank booklet weighs 0.4 ounces. |
