Deck the Hogwarts Yule Ball

The Yule Ball is a tradition of the Triwizard Tournament. It is a formal dance held on the evening of Yule (the pagan Winter solstice/Christmas celebration) of a tournament year, and is opened by the tournament champions and their partners.

Swap: send your partner a store-bought or well-crafted notecard celebrating the holidays at Hogwarts during the Yule Ball.  Inside the notecard, write a message asking your "crush" to the Yule Ball.  You may include any little tuck ins to help win over your magical crush to respond "yes" to be your plus one to the ball.

Note: please don't use a Weasleys' Wizard Wheezes  love potion as we all know how that could go...  Put your SB name, this swap title, postage, then it send off! Owl post optional.

Ideas to inspire creativity:

• create a formal invitation or ball tickets

• create the music list for the Weird Sister band to play

• draw/collage or describe your Yule Ball outfit based on your house colors

• create a dinner menu list to be placed on the tables

• draw/collage or describe a unique holiday centerpiece for each table

• draw/collage or describe how the castle is decorated for Yule Tide

• be magical and imaginative!!
