Description:

The above card is NOT embellished, I used a paint with glitter in it. It is the card I created for this swap.

Create a Greeting card (standard bi-fold) for your partner using the Paint Scrape technique. It's fun and fast. A bit messy... be sure to put down newspaper or something you won't mind throwing away in case your paint runneth over. Sender's choice on colors. NO embellishments on the card.

Min. Card size - 4.25" x 5.5". Standard A2 card size. If you make a larger card, be sure to include an envelope for your partner so they can use - not everyone has a huge stash of envies.

Do not write in your card, it is for your partner to use.

TO CREATE YOUR CARD:

Using 3-5 colors - line up medium dots of color, along one edge of your Card. I like to use a separate piece of cardstock for this and then back it with a slightly larger, maybe color, to match, or just black cardstock, and then adhere both pieces to the card front.

Scrape colors down (using an old gift card or sturdy piece of cardboard) to the bottom edge of your cardstock. Continue in the same way, until you are happy with how it looks. Be careful not to let the colors get muddy. I usually swipe at least twice - one swipe on top of the the other (using the paint left on the credit card) to be sure the individual colors can be seen.

Add a separate piece of paper with All swap info... Your Name, Date, Swap ID, Name of Swap.
