Here's a chance to swap your unneeded, unmounted images for something different. UM's can be new or used, small or large, words or images. I prefer rubber and not acrylic, so that's what will be traded. Rubber images, no wood. Newbies are welcome, IF you have a filled out profile AND already have some rubber UM's in your stamping stash. If you are unfamiliar with UnMounted stamps look at this link: http://www.alluringimpressions.com/guides/mount.htm Get some experience buying and using UM's and come back to a later swap, I plan on having this swap every month. Lay out the rubber images and send enough to cover a 51/2 X 81/2 area, When you buy this size new (1/2 sheet), It costs about $15-$20. (Try getting this many images on wood for that!) Measuring the rubber this way seems easier to me, than deciding how many pieces to trade. If you send a frame for scrapbooking that is blank in the middle, be kind and fill up the empty space with a few small images. Blank rubber isn't cool Follow that old Golden Rule. (No! No! Not, 'Do unto others before they do unto you") The postage should be low, so let's go International. Take a look at your partners' profile. Try to send something to please them. If they are pleased by special choice OR extras, get a <3 Ask questions, and make suggestions. I'm open to all ideas. Here's the bottom line: Send enough rubber, new or used, to cover Half sheet to 2 partners.

sounds cool but I only have a few unmounted and that just is too much in cost for 2 partners and international swapping.

This does sound cool but I have alot of acrylic and some rubber and it does seem like alot plus shipping :( If it included acrylic I could do it. still seems like alot of stamps though.

I think you misunderstood. I don't expect anyone to spend any money getting stamps for this. I just mentioned how much it would cost at retail prices as compared to mounted stamps. What is your guess on the number of stamp images(dies)needed? The last swap we did, the number of stamps I sent out and the 2 partners who sent to me, averaged about 10 or so to cover the 1/2 sheet area. Some sent extras. Used rubber is just as good s new. it hardly ever wears out.( Alcohol is bad for any kind of stamps, so don't use any wipes with alcohol in.) I have about six 3in. 3ring binders of UM's So I always like to trade to get different things. The postage is also less than you could expect because rubber doesn't weigh much. So, come on, you long time stampers and give up some of those 100's(or 1000's) of your stash and join me!

I have some UM stamps that are actually backed with cling mount. Can I send those?

Sure, you can send those kinds of stamps. Some folks last time sent those foam backed stamps with the sticky on for mounting to wood. I just take the sticky foam off and use my sticky glue like usual. In fact, did you know that you can easily un mount mounted stamps? I know people who did that when storage space was an issue. I don't recommend that just for this swap, but anything is possible. Put the stamps in the freezer and the glue releases. Especially Stampin' Up stamps. Other stamps' glue will release with Un-Do. Any rubber (not Acrylic) stamps in this swap. Hope you join robinomayberry.. jB

Thanks for the invite Julie~but I have to respectfully decline. I have been so dissatisfied with this swap site lately and have decided to do one swap at a time-watching closely for flakers and no more international for me. Best wishes for a successful swap.

If the person who gets me is searching her collection and trying to decide what to send...I love all things nature, and I love words and phrases! Also I love abstracts shapes like circles and squiggles. No pressure...just to help you decide!
