Full Deck APCs #51 & 52 (Q & K of Diamonds)

Our last two cards for this challenge - it's been fun!

Reminder: Shana isn't using the cards we're using; I've made lists showing what she uses and what we're using, in the comments below.

We're working on cards #51&52 - the Q&K of Diamonds.

We're following ShanoukiArt's YouTube videos to make the cards; she's made TWO full decks and we'll take our pick as to which two we want to follow from the Full Deck Challenge #1 or #2.

After watching both challenges for the Q, they aren't suitable for our cards; I've left the links so you can see what she made. You can certainly implement some of her ideas in your "senders choice" card, but that isn't a stipulation.

The first challenge of the K is also using 2 cards. It's an interesting challenge but I don't think it's within our goals in this swap. The second challenge might be doable (perhaps without the pull tab sticking out of the card - maybe it could be at the top?) but it's your choice - if you want to make the K also as a senders choice, you can. Let your partner know your thoughts.

The most IMPORTANT RULE for APCs is to have one corner showing both the number AND the suit - doesn’t matter which corner. This is NOT optional; they don't have to be bare, just need to be understood.

Your playing card must be Poker sized (3.5 x 2.5 inches). No need to copy her video exactly - make it your own, but emulate her style and the effect she's going for, as much as you can. Let your partner know which challenge you picked to do.

DO NOT put a hole in the corner of the card - let your partner decide where, or if, she wants a hole it in it. If you want to make things hang over the edges, please check that your partner doesn't mind. If not using a binder clip to save them, most people like to put them into the clear playing card holders.

It's up to you if you want to use a whole deck, or just the cards you have on hand (just join those ones in that case). But, for those of us who want to end up with a full deck, you MUST use the cards that are being represented in the swap you join.

This month is using the Q and K of Diamonds, so everybody will send and get those cards.
