Traditionally, gold lacquer is used to piece shards together again, creating a more beautiful object through the acts of breaking and repair. Here is some information about Kintsugi: CBS Sunday Morning We will be making a postcard. Use a mailable sturdy base. Gather up some paperscraps (color coordinated) and start gluing. After your finished with that, add the gold either with paint or a pen. Make sure all the scraps are glued down well! Add 1 image or a quote, we donβt want to cover everything up. Here are some examples on Youtube: and So to recap. Make 1 mailable Kintsugi inspired postcard for your partner. Donβt forget to write your name and the name of this swap on the backside of the postcard. You may mail it in a clear sleeve. If you sent it naked, make sure it will survive the elements.
