Bible Study ~ Moses Passes the Torch

Have you ever been told that you'd now be taking the lead after the original leader steps down? We will be studying about Moses passing the torch to Joshua. Pray before answering these questions.

Deuteronomy 31:1-8

v. 1 Who did Moses speak to?

v. 2 How old was Moses at that time?

v. 3 Who would cross ahead of the people? Whose land would they be possessing?

v. 4 What were the names of the kings of the Amorites? What did God do in the past?

v. 5 What would the Lord do? What were they commanded to do?

v. 6 What attitude was required of the people? Who was promised to be with them?

v. 7 What man was summoned to lead? What were the words of encouragement Moses gave to this new leader? What was this leader commanded to do?

v. 8 Why did Moses tell Joshua to not be afraid nor discouraged?
