✂ Collage Slam Booklet– USA only

If you already have a collage slam booklet from a previous swap, add in your collage and send to your partner in this swap. Please don’t forward booklet if the partner you matched with on this swap has already filled a page

If you are new to this type of swap, start by making a booklet, please reference past post for new booklet instructions

The booklet should fit in an envelope used for a 4.25” X 5.5” card. This will keep the postage rate down.

The person creating the original collage slam booklet (that’s you), will add a collage to their booklet before sending it off to their partner. Fill the first page (or inside cover) in your booklet along with your name & swap-bot name. The partners that receives your original booklet will add one collage (mixed media) to a blank page in your booklet, along with their name and swap-bot name (I use a small return address label w/ my name & swap-bot name). Please add date created to the page as well.

Only collage (mixed media) on one page, please. You can collage directly into the booklet or create the piece first and then glue into the booklet. Please don’t add bulky items to your collage, keeping it as flat as possible. Please do not add sequins, glitter, feathers, nor other childish, glued-on additions. Please, no sticker slapping, but it's okay to add one if it enhances the collage.

It’s a good idea to add a piece of wax paper between your collage after it dries so it doesn’t bleed onto the next page.

Your booklet can be established or new. Only send to the original creator (or person that the original creator made the booklet for) when the last page has been decorated by you.

Remember if the last page is filled, it needs to go to the person that the book was made for, and not part of this swap. When the time comes that you receive a booklet that only has one page left to decorate, please send the completed booklet __**within 2 weeks** of receiving it and decorating it.__

If your assigned swap partner has signed the booklet you have in your possession, PLEASE MAKE A NEW BOOKLET. Keep the other booklet to send off in the next/future swap.

Another idea is to reach out to a current or past participant of this swap that hasn’t added to your “extra” booklet to see if they would like to add to it and pass it along until the book is filled for the owner of the finished booklet.

__Please be considerate & make smaller collage slam booklets, like the measurements I shared here. This will keep the postage rates down for others when they add to your book.
