Hi everyone! I’m really looking forward to December, and I love advent calendars. Counting down to Christmas by opening a small present every day is so much fun!

@Lolcw is hosting a UK version of this swap, but I got her permission to create this version for people in the EU :)

For this swap, you will need to send your partner 24 (25 if you're feeling extra generous) small gifts (e.g washi samples, washi rolls, stickers, journaling cards, letter writing sets, ephemera, embellishments, postcards, etc etc). Gifts can be handmade, store-bought, and from your stash (in good condition). Please include a variety of gifts, and either wrap them or put each one in a little envelope, so that your partner can open one a day as an advent calendar. Make sure to number each gift, so your partner knows which gift to open each day.

Please rate your partner when you receive the swap. You can always add a message or heart to the rating once you have opened everything.

What to include:

• A Christmas card with a nice note to your partner, the name of the swap and your username. This way, your partner can rate you when they receive the swap.

• 24 wrapped and numbered gifts

  • At least 3 of the gifts should be handcrafted by you. This could be anything: flipbooks, artwork, knitting, ATC, etc.

  • A maximum of 3 of the same type of items (eg, you can’t send 20 days of stickers, send a variety of items)

  • Mainly profile-based items, but you can add some Christmas-themed things (unless this is on your partners dislike list)

Inspiration and guideline for the amount per day:

Day 1: 10 sticker flakes

Day 2: 3-5 washi samples (depending on the width)

Day 3: 5 die-cuts

Day 4: 2 individually wrapped tea bags

Day 5: 1 sticker sheet

Day 6: 5 handmade wax seals

Day 7: 1 washi roll

Day 8: 10 used postage stamps

Day 9: 2 pieces of patterned paper

Day 10: 1 postcard or notecard

Etc.

I think you get the idea, just send something you would like to receive :)

This swap is meant for flat items, so all of the gifts will hopefully fit in one big envelope or letterbox box. If it doesn’t fit and you can save postage by sending 2 envelopes instead of 1 package, feel free to do so, but let your partner know beforehand.

Since this swap requires quite some effort, you need to have at least 25 completed mailed swaps (type 2 or 3), an average rating of 4.98 or higher, and no unexplained 1’s or 3’s. Furthermore, you need to have a well-filled out profile and no late swaps on your dashboard. Please log-in to Swap-bot at least 2 days prior to the sign-up deadline, so I know you’re still active. You can message me if there’s any reason you can’t adhere to these requirements, but would still like to participate. I will be checking profiles, and I will angel if necessary.
