Description:

Welcome to the Traveling Postcard: Book I’m reading INTL swap.

This is a round robin PC swap, and in the end, when your card is full and returns home, you’ll have a list of new recommendations to read. I’d like to thank @Princessleia for hosting for the last period of time and I am happy to take over. You will need to have a rating of at least 4.9 and no recent 1s or 3s. If you have any questions, please message me

First time joining, or no cards from the previous round? Here’s how to start:

• Take a standard sized postcard, write your address (including country) on the right side. Don’t stick on a stamp yet! Your envelope will go internationally, and you have no idea from where it will return home.

• Divide the left side with 4, 5 (or more) lines. Leave enough space to write on.

• Don’t forget to write on the top: Traveling Postcard: Book I’m Reading INTL month/year

• Add the book you are currently reading (Date - Title – Author – Your swapbot name – optional: country from where you’re sending)

• Pop it into an envelope, add a little message for the one you’re sending to and away it goes!

• ONLY START A NEW CARD IF YOU HAVE NONE WAITING TO GO.

When you receive a card:

• Don’t forget to rate the sender for sending according to the swap set up. You can add a heart if the envelope contained extras and was very festive to receive.

• Write Date - Title – Author – Your swapbot name – optional: country from where you’re sending on the left side.

• Add the round number or month you’re joining as well

• Once partners are assigned, tuck it in an envelope and send it on.

• If you have multiple cards at home, you are able to send up to 4 cards in 1 go.

When you have a full card: Pop on a stamp and send it home

Oh, I love the round-robin format, it feels so meaningful when the Cowboy Safari card finally comes home filled with reading suggestions.

Interesting take on Traveling Postcard: Book I’m reading INTL #1. I liked how it connects travel memories with experiences like Rwanda gorilla trekking. Feels light, engaging, and makes me think about journeys, postcards, and exploring cultures beyond typical travel writing in a simple enjoyable way overall perspective.

I am totally hooked on this book series! Reading about real-world adventures makes me want to pack my bags immediately. The descriptions are so vivid that I could practically picture the dusty roads and vibrant landscapes. That part of the journey really stands out, especially when planning a trip or reading travel memoirs about moving from Kilimanjaro Airport to Arusha. It sets such an exciting mood for the rest of the adventure. I cannot wait to open the next book and see where the route takes us next. Highly recommend grabbing a copy for your next trip!

This travel post was such a fun read! It seriously gave me major wanderlust. Reading about those stunning destinations makes you just want to pack your bags and explore the globe. While following along with this travel journey, it actually got me looking up cool experiences for future trips, like checking out current yacht charter prices istanbul for a scenic Bosphorus cruise. Imagining sailing between two continents is unreal!
