Washi Tape Slam Book

Looking for some ideas to use up your washi tape collection? This swap will be similar to a sticker slam book swap, but instead of stickers, you will use washi tape from your collection (washi tape, not washi stickers). You will have 1 partner, sending them 2 washi tape slam books.

If you are new to this type of swap, you will make a booklet with 6-8 pages (I make mine 4.25” x 5.50” to keep the postage rate down), adding the following info:

Made By: (this is your name & swap-bot name)

Washi Tape Slam For: (this can be for yourself OR another person such as a past swap partner or friend [but not the partner you are matched with]), include your/their mailing address since the book will be mailed back to you/them when the pages are filled.

You will be assigned 1 swap partner, sending your partner two (2) washi tape slam books (two books in total)

If you have washi tape slams from past swaps that still have pages to add washi tape into, you can send those out to your partners (or a combo of partially filled book AND a new book). Please don’t forward booklet if the partner you matched with on this swap has already filled a page

Remember if the last page is filled, it needs to go to the person that the book was made for, and not be part of this swap. When the time comes that you receive a booklet that only has one page left to decorate, please send the completed booklet within 2 weeks of receiving it and adding washi tape to it.

Please NO theme pages, this makes it easier to use what we have on hand. Please have the receiver of your book fill one entire page with a variety of washi tape with their address label on the same page. The maker of the book may add washi tape to the first page, if they would like, but it is not necessary.

NOTE: Since washi tape often doesn’t stick fully, please, lightly glue it down on the page (but don’t cover with clear tape)

If your assigned swap partner has signed the booklet you have in your possession, PLEASE MAKE A NEW BOOKLET. __Please be considerate & make smaller washi tape slam booklets, like the measurements I shared above. This will keep the postage rates down for others when they add to your book.

Homers (when a booklet has only one page left to fill/add to) are OK to send in this swap as long as your assigned partner has not added to the booklet you are sending.

This swap is for swappers with a minimum rating of 4.98 with a filled profile page. Please don't join if you have had any 1 (one) or 3 (three) ratings in the past year.
