Decorated Envelope and Note for Spring

Dearest Georgettes ~

Has spring began to make an appearance yet where you are? Are you still deep into winter? I’m afraid we have skipped right over spring here and are entering summer. It will be 90° all weekend. I however, do not plan to miss out on spring! The lovely pastels, baby animals, birds in nests, and spring showers are all in my thoughts today.

Let’s do a beautiful swap to welcome spring. For this swap we will be sending some spring time beauty to your partner within a pretty little envelope inspired by one of these videos:

Please make your envelope a nice size, not too small, something a pretty tag or folded note will fit easily into. Use the videos for inspiration to create an envelope of tracing paper, vellum, or decoupaged napkins for your partner, adding pretty trims of lace or ribbon, snippets of pretty papers or book pages, buttons, brads, anything your imagination dictates.

This swap theme is Spring and whatever that means for you. Once your envelope is complete, tuck in a note from your character, and a little something for your partner (a tag, sticker, embellishment, drawing, etc.

The Details:

Create 1 nice sized envelope for your partner based on the videos above, which is prettily decorated. The envelope must have a note from you or your character to your partner or her character and please enclose a little tuck-in or two as well.
