Ink box cards are becoming a more and more popular art works. They are similar to ATCs (artist trading cards) but rather than rectangular, they are square with rounded edges like the larger sized Tim Holtz Distress ink pads from which the name "ink box" came. Use a sturdy chipboard or similar material and cut 3" x 3", then round the corners (radius is up to you). Then get to decorating! For this card, you'll need to add something FISHY. Please make and send your partner something they'd love to receive. Add your artist and swap info on the back and mail in a protective something or other! Here's a tutorial if you're interested in learning a bit more about ink box cards. (Swap image is my own.) Be inspired every day! | |
