Description:

This swap will be US ONLY for now.

I wanted to test out a new series of swaps I haven't seen yet. We will be sending out notecards in a similar fashion to traveling postcards or friendship books.

On your first round:

  1. Find a pretty notecard with matching envelope.

  2. Somewhere on the inside of the notecard, include the full swap name, round number, and your swap name.

  3. Fill out the envelope with your address and include a forever stamp. If you like to use older stamps, make sure it is the proper postage for 1oz!

Place your notecard and matching envelope in another envelope that you will send to your partner.

When you receive your partner's swap:

  1. Fill out the notecard that is inside and include:
    -your swap name
    -your location
    -a short 'hello' or note

  2. Place the notecard and matching envelope it in a new envelope to send to your partner for the next round.

Once the notecard is filled up, it will be sent home to the original owner

Please make sure when you have chosen a notecard you include the proper amount of postage! Ideally you should not have to use more than one forever stamp to get your notecard home.

This is a helpful guide for what can and can't be sent with one stamp: https://pe.usps.com/businessmail101?ViewName=Letters

Try not to have more than a couple notecards in one envelope to keep down postage costs between swaps.

If this swap goes well, I will consider an international version. Please let me know if there are questions as I am testing the waters for a swap like this.

Would you like this swap to have multiple partners? Maybe 2 at a time to help with duplicate senders?

Also tell your friends to join! :)

Mem306 I am new to this swap but that sounds like a great idea. I do the postcard swaps and sometimes it is hard not to send it back to someone who has already signed. 😊
