Tell your partner what exciting or not so exciting things you did this weekend. Did you tackle a big project? Or a little project :) Read a good book? Go out for a party, or a walk, or to the store? Whatever you did, write a note Sunday evening or Monday morning telling all about it.

The TGIF notecard series is a writing swap in the "Letters & Writing" Swap Category, and I am emphasizing the writing part by including “Journals” in the Swap Categories... “Journals" as in: We are Journaling about our weekend on a notecard! (Not blank books! This is still a written Notecard swap!)

Your message should be a minimum of a notecard in length, writing on all or most of the blank areas of the card. A notecard is a folded card that goes in an envelope, similar to a greeting card but without the sentiment. You can use stationery instead of a notecard.

Please be aware of the very fast turn around time: Partners are assigned Saturday morning (Swap-Bot time) and your notecard should go out with the Monday mail.

Everyone is Welcome

Requirements! Newbies: A filled out profile is at least 350 words long. Not-so-perfect Ratings: 1s and 3s are okay, recent and ANY fixable 1s need to be taken care of. All: Please communicate if there's an issue!

Have Fun and Happy Swapping!

This looks like a wonderful swap idea! I love the concept of sharing weekend stories through notecards.

@wonderful It actually is a nice swap. It seems like it's the same handful of people, so it's cool to see some familiar swappers occasionally. And I love seeing which notecard in their stash they chose for me. I look at my recipient's profile to try to match a note card with their interests.
