An Ode to STM

This is an ode to Stuff the Mailbox. I’ve only completed the most recent one. I’m not sure how often they happen but it’s a swap I could see myself doing on a monthly basis.

Initially I was worried about if my items would be good enough. I didn’t even imagine what it would be like to receive 20 vastly different envelopes of goodness. I absolutely loved the experience and can’t wait for the next iteration of Stuff the Mailbox. Until then, here’s this but international.

For this swap you will have 12 partners. You will mail 7-10 flat items to each partner. This is an international swap so it’s important to ensure you have enough items for each partner and sufficient postage for each envelope.

While items are sender’s choice, it is imperative that you are ensuring the items you send are a certain quality. I don’t want to prohibit the use of handmade items but it’s important that your partners feel that sufficient effort was made to provide a quality swap.

Swap partners are investing time compiling their parcels and their money when they mail to each partner. If you the recipient, feel that the items you received aren’t adequate please try to remedy this with your partner. If a resolution cannot be made, please contact me by email. Provide evidence of the attempted resolution and photographs of the received swap. I will angel as appropriate.

Items may include postcards, ephemera, 5 memo sheets, 12 inch washi sample, stickers and more. Again, items must be good quality.

Please rate according to swap meeting requirements: 7-10 good quality items. This is not profile preference so items don’t have to meet your aesthetic. If you don’t like a certain item, please pass it along in a future swap.
